Dear Teachers and Students

Thank you for your interest in IDTA Professional Qualifications.
To begin with I will give you a little bit of background on myself.
I am a Senior Theatre and Freestyle Examiner with the IDTA and have been examining  for 27 years.  I have been on The Freestyle Faculty for nearly 25 years and been in Chair for this Faculty since 2019.
In addition to this I am secretary of The South East Theatre Area and more recently have been delighted to be voted on to the IDTA Board  of Directors.
I have been training professionals for many years now and have put many teachers through their qualifications.
During the pandemic I started to do online training and found that this also worked very well for teacher training.
I have introduced this training in many different ways and work with what suits each individual.
I can offer the following
A mixture of in person and online training
All training online
Individual training
Group training
A full days training Teachers can travel to me or me to them ( This usually works better in a group)
Lessons can be weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly or a complete course where the examination is taken at the end ( Again this works well in a group)
Of course for those who prefer just face to face training I can also accommodate this.
I cover from level 3- Fellowship in all Theatre Subjects , Freestyle, Street and Cheer.
Sometimes teachers just require a refresher or an update lesson. I am happy to provide this too. Again with this it might be an idea to see if any other teachers want to join you in a refresher to make it more cost effective.
For level 4 I have worked on a programme where regardless of Genre the majority of the unit 1 can be worked on together online and then separated into groups according to Genre, making this a cheaper option.
I give all the guidance then read through everyone’s unit 1 and suggest changes where necessary before it is submitted.
Unit 1 is only necessary for the first level 4 taken.
Prices will vary depending on whether you are doing online, In person, Individual or group.
